Black Diamond is all about climbing and skiing. What began as a backyard anvil and hammer has grown into a global company that produces innovative gear that continues to set standards in numerous areas.
Cotopaxi believes the products that get us exploring can make a positive impact in other people’s lives. That’s why they create sustainably designed outdoor gear that fuels both adventure and global change, by dedicating a percentage of their revenues to nonprofits working to improve the human condition.
Mountain Hardwear was founded in 1993 by a small band of outdoor industry iconoclasts. They saw the industry changing, compromising quality and dumbing down products to serve less technical users. Mountain Hardwear was founded to buck this trend in order to stay true to the needs of outdoor athletes.
At MYSTERY RANCH, our mission is to support your mission—whatever that may be. Our customers are the rough and rugged ones of this Earth, those ambitious men and women with a lust for adventure and an affinity for struggle—be it occupation or recreation, perilous profession or ardent pastime, daily duty or weekend escape. They’re discriminating people in demanding conditions; they must haul more and hurt less; they cannot—and will not—fail. And, if we have anything to say about it, neither will their gear.
Patagonia grew out of a small company that made tools for climbers. Their values reflect those of a business started by a band of climbers and surfers, and the minimalist styel they promoted. Patagonia believes in building the best product and using the business to inspire and implement solutions to the environmental crisis.

Since Osprey was founded in 1974, every single product design has passed through the hands of owner and founder Mike Pfotenhauer, who created his first backpack at age 16.
In Santa Cruz, California, the young entrepreneur opened a retail shop in the front of his rental house where backpackers and travelers came for custom-fit, made-to-order packs constructed over several days by Mike himself. As the demand for the great-fitting packs increased, Osprey found itself relocating to its current home in Southwest Colorado.
Today, Osprey is a melting pot of diverse personalities, backgrounds and abilities. All share the common belief that adventure is open to everyone and found anywhere.
