In 1989, a Colorado rafting guide had a vision to develop the ultimate footwear for outdoor adventures in and out of water. He gave it a symbol of the gecko because they could adapt and thrive in almost any environment. It was named “Chaco”.

Chaco Sandals keep feet secure and give you confidence in moving water, whether rivers, rapids, or waterfalls. Chacos are designed for durability, functionality, fit, and performance rather than cosmetic add-ons or non-essential bells and whistles.
