The Vega Jacket by Sierra Designs features torrent two layer waterproof breathable fabric and promises hard shell protection, while AquaSeal side vents help bucket heat when your exertion levels or the temperature rises. The zip or stow hood flips up in a flash, or disappears on a nicer day. Cinch down the draw cord hem if the wind picks up or the powder's deep, and employ the Quick Change zips to turn the Vega into a spring time piece.
