The William Triact-Lock from Petzl is an auto-locking, pear-shaped carabiner that requires 3 individual actions to unlock. The system decreases the likelihood of accidentally disengaging the lock, but is far quicker and easier to intentionally disengage, even when wearing gloves, than manual locking systems.
