Tent Pole Splints from Adventure Medical Kits are the quickest, most effective way to repair a broken tent pole out on the trail. Made of an anodized aluminum tube 7/16" inside diameter by 5" long. Just slide the broken ends of the tent pole into each end of the sleeve and wrap with duct tape.
