Run clean and free despite oppressive sunlight. The Sun Runner's SolarShield fabric provides UPF 30+ protection for reflective glacier crossings and long days in the desert. A plastic-stiffened bill and a removable sun skirt provide shelter from harsh rays, while a Coolmax® headband manages moisture. Mesh side panels help ventilate the sides of the head and can be covered by the sun skirt for increased protection. An adjustable Cinch Strap and a removable chin cord with a cord lock help to keep this cap under control during long runs.
