With new ultra-light components developed exclusively for Mountain Hardwear, the Helion 2 weighs in at 3 1/2 pounds. Super light fly and floor fabrics, new Atlas UL poles and 1/4 inch webbing with molded clips, and the all mesh canopy reduce weight and provide excellent ventilation, while the tall front entry, with tapered foot, maximizes livability. Mountain Hardwear's patented Evolution Tension Arch provides strength when the weather turns nasty and the freestanding design ensures quick pitch. As if that were not enough, the Helion 2 also has guaranteed watertight construction and a Pitch Light option: fly, poles and durable Tyvek footprint bring weight to 2 pounds 11 ounces. The Tyvek footprint sold separately.
