Description
Satellite by Mountain Hardwear is a tough, expedition base camp tent designed to withstand the elements season after season. The Satellite accommodates four sleeping, or 12 if you’re celebrating a successful summit bid, and features a domed canopy with fly to minimize wind load. It is practically impervious to water and UV damage thanks to waterproof and titanium oxide coatings. The internal perimeter floor band creates waterproof seats when snow benches are carved. Ten Atlas XL poles help create a dependable shelter for rugged conditions.

- Guaranteed watertight construction with fully taped fly, taped perimeter seam, welded corners and welded guy clip anchors. Rain room tested with 1,200 inches of rain in 24 hours.
- Atlas Scandium XL pole system is super light, super strong, with cold resistant cord for extremely cold temperatures; can be serviced by hand in the field.
- Two dual canopy and mesh doors for easy access and ventilation
- Internal guy system with O-rings at intersections for use in high winds or heavy snow loads to strengthen the tent.
- Three SVX windows are UV resistant and remain flexible to -40 F, providing a view without heat loss.
