With new Variable Thickness Rand (VTR) Technology, this shoe is more durable in the high wear areas, has limited toe-bulge, and maintains toe box structure. With the feel of a nice fitting slipper, the Defy VTR is comfortable for multi-pitch routes or all day in the gym. The TRAX® XT-5 high friction rubber will smear on slippery slopers and stick on overhangs.
